Today on 25-02-2024, the eleven thousandth person was added to the family tree! These are not all persons with the surname Sparreboom, of course, but they are all relatives.
In total, there are now 2275 unique surnames registered, perhaps yours too….
Why would you want to know?
Because everyone has a family that made you who you are today. For Alexander Pechtold, for example, his family was a real eye opener, just watch this television program from Verborgen Verleden (partly Dutch). Knowing where your family comes from, whether they lived in many different places, for example, and what they did for work gives you somewhat of an idea of why you yourself have certain interests or choices.
